Cuzcos Peruvian Cuisine is seeking experienced and motivated Assistant Cooks with a strong background in traditional Peruvian cooking. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about authentic flavors, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and have hands-on experience working on a professional line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of traditional Peruvian dishes (e.g., lomo saltado, ceviche, ají de gallina, anticuchos, etc.)
  • Maintain consistency and quality in all food preparation and presentation
  • Work efficiently on the line during service in a high-volume environment
  • Support head chefs and kitchen staff with daily prep and cooking tasks
  • Properly use and maintain traditional cooking equipment and tools
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards
  • Assist with inventory, ingredient prep, and kitchen organization

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Peruvian cuisine (required)
  • Strong knowledge of traditional ingredients, techniques, and flavor profiles
