GYMNASTICS EQUIPMENT PERSONNEL MANAGER

CLOSING DATE: Open until filled

PAY RANGE:$13.40-16.08/hour depending on experience and qualifications. Free Legacy Center membership also included.

SCHEDULE:Partโ€‘time with flexible scheduling; some evenings and weekends required. Job averages 5-7 hours per week.

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

The Gymnastic Equipment Personnel Manager supports the Gymnastics Program at Lehi Legacy Center. This role oversees equipment operations, manages a team of Equipment Personnel, ensures safety procedures are followed, and coordinates hiring and scheduling.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:
โ€ข Hire, train, and supervise Equipment Personnel
โ€ข Manage staff schedules (setโ€‘up, takeโ€‘down, and weekend shifts)
โ€ข Maintain equipment, safety procedures, and work logs
โ€ข Coordinate onboarding with City HR (background checks, drug tests, paperwork)
โ€ข Support staff morale and lead annual trainings
โ€ข Attend required meetings and communicate updates to the team

Physical Requirement:
โ€ข Must be able to safely move gymnastics equipment and navigate throughout a busy gymnastics gym.

Qualifications:
โ€ข Strong organization and communication skills
โ€ข Leadership experience preferred
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with partโ€‘time staff
โ€ข Recreation or gymnastics experience is a plus
