Role Overview:
We are seeking an Occupancy Planner to join our Occupancy Planning and Management team. This hybrid position requires on-site presence 2-3 days per week.
The role focuses on identifying solutions for small-scale space needs and securing necessary approvals. As part of a national space planning team, you will support a large, dynamic financial services client in optimizing their workspace utilization. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing efficient space solutions to meet the evolving needs of this fast-paced organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Space Planning and Management:
Act as single point of contact for routine space requests
Listen to needs, concerns, and objections of all parties
Identify, develop, and communicate solutions to Space Planning team and line of business client.
Develop solutions for employees with approved medical accommodations in the workplace
Advocate workplace best practices and etiquette
Conduct regular audits of space utilization and occupancy data
Monitor utilization data to identify solutions
Hand off approved solutions to implementation teams
Package allocation updates with corresponding floorplans and submit to CAFM system for processing
Participate in cross-functional teams to improve space planning processes
Communicate with various teams (Space Planners, Relationship Managers, Move Managers etc.)
Travel 10% as required
Data Management and Reporting:
Ensure accuracy of floor plans and occupancy data in CAFM system
Coordinate data in ServiceNow, Corrigo, Atlassian (space uses, business hierarchies)
Produce monthly/quarterly reports for planning processes and decision-making
Accommodate ad-hoc data requests


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in real estate space planning
Two years' corporate experience
CAFM system experience a plus
Strong MS Excel skills and technology proficiency
Excellent attention to detail and high-volume work management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Negotiation and diplomacy skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
Project management skills a plus

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

72,000.00 - 79,500.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
