As part of OHM Advisors, a 800-person architecture, engineering, and planning firm, our studio combines design thinking with technical expertise to move communities from vision to implementation. We believe great places are built through collaboration, creativity, and a deep respect for the people who live there.

  • Actively participate and facilitate planning workshops/charrettes in the field at project locations, virtually, and/or in the local office.
  • Engage with diverse communities and stakeholders through public meetings, workshops, interviews, and other engagement activities.
  • Conduct site visits to perform analysis, photography, and field evaluations of land uses, facilities, and infrastructure (buildings, roads, parking, utilities, etc.).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including planners, landscape architects, engineers, and designers to develop integrated planning and design solutions.
  • Engage with the PLACE studio and other team members to share best practices and contribute to a culture of collaborative innovation.
  • Actively participate in the regional planning and design community, including professional organizations, civic forums, and public conversations that shape the future of Pittsburgh and its neighborhoods.
  • Occasional travel to project sites and other OHM offices may be required on an as-needed basis.

Requirements
