Job description

Cape Fox subsidiary, Kwaan Tech, LLC, is looking for a highly organized and motivated Special Security Technician to act as a non-personal services SCI Personnel Security (PERSEC) Program Specialist. This position also involves providing logistical support for Special Security operations. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary expertise and skills to execute the personnel and information security tasks associated with the COMPACFLT SCI Special Security Program.

This includes ensuring the strict protection of classified information and personnel, in compliance with all relevant U.S. Government, Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DoN), and command-level directives. A valid driver's license is also required for this position

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Responsible for conducting roving patrols, responding to alarms, providing access control, and offering comprehensive operational and administrative support to maintain a secure environment on a 24/7/365 basis. This position is contingent upon the award.

The salary for this exempt position is $154,000. The above rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.

Core Duties: Personnel Security (PERSEC) Processing: The candidate shall assist with all personnel security actions in support of the COMPACFLT SCI PERSEC Program. This includes in/out-processing, executing non-disclosure agreements, conducting indoctrinations and debriefings, and processing SCI eligibility nominations, polygraph requests, and foreign travel forms. The candidate shall process all incoming and outgoing visit access requests (VARs) and clearance certifications within three (3) business days of receipt.

The candidate shall manage and issue security access badges in accordance with local policy. The candidate shall support high-profile visits and command travel requirements by managing all associated PERSEC actions (e.g., access, badges, message traffic). Reporting & Records Management: The candidate shall maintain all electronic and hardcopy SCI personnel security files with 98% accuracy

The candidate shall establish and disestablish security relationships and input all required data into the personnel security system of record (e.g., DISS). The candidate shall prepare and deliver accurate security status reports, personnel rosters, and access badge lists to government leadership as required. The candidate shall immediately notify the government SSO and SSR PERSEC Lead upon receipt of any derogatory, conflicting, or questionable data

The candidate's responsibility is strictly limited to this notification. All adjudication, investigation, and final determinations regarding personnel security issues are inherently governmental functions and will be handled exclusively by government personnel. Information Security (INFOSEC) Support: The candidate shall process all courier requests, including preparing courier cards and authorization letters, and will maintain a database for accountability.

The candidate shall provide witness capability for the destruction of SCI and other classified materials. The candidate shall assist with processing reported security incidents in accordance with local policy, including maintaining incident files and preparing draft reports. Security Education & Foreign Partner Integration: The Candidate shall assist in executing the Security, Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program by delivering initial newcomer orientation briefs and other security training materials.

The Candidate shall assist in the secure integration of foreign partners by coordinating with government security staff and briefing visitors on all applicable security procedures.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a PERSEC or SSO support role within a SCIF environment. Must be proficient in the use of DISS, Scattered Castles, Multimedia Message Manager (M3), and the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Lenel Access Control Systems is preferred

Must have in-depth knowledge of governing laws, regulations, precedents, and directives for DoD and IC security programs, including the ICDs and NISPOM. Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and files with high attention to detail.
