Job description

smartdept. is searching for a Product Marketing Manager for a healthcare technology client located in Broomfield, CO. The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience. This is a full-time, hybrid, permanent position. Compensation for this position is expected to be $95,000-$105,000/year depending on experience level and fit.
This role drives market success for a pharmacy automation portfolio serving hospital and healthcare environments. It blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution across omnichannel campaigns, thought leadership, and support for long, complex B2B sales cycles.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in pharmacy automation products, roadmaps, and competitive landscape
  • Build and execute integrated omnichannel campaigns tied to product launches and growth initiatives
  • Define campaign objectives, personas, messaging frameworks, and channel mix across digital, field, events, and sales-enabled marketing
  • Measure and analyze lead generation performance, funnel progression, and conversion rates
  • Define and refine targeted personas across clinical, facilities, operations, IT, and executive buyers
  • Drive thought leadership through white papers, articles, webinars, and presentations
  • Plan and execute brand presence at regional and national trade shows (up to 30% travel, including international)
  • Own annual marketing calendars and align product priorities, campaign timing, and sales objectives
  • Organize and facilitate a customer advisory board program
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, corporate marketing, and regional teams

What You'll Need:
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field required; MBA a plus
  • 5-8+ years of B2B product marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, automation, capital equipment, or industrial technology
  • Proven experience building omnichannel campaigns tied to measurable outcomes
  • Strong understanding of long, complex B2B sales cycles
  • Excellent written communication skills including writing, editing, and proofreading
  • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and influencing cross-functional teams

Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with emerging pharmacy automation or robotic medication dispensing systems
  • Familiarity with AI tools for market research
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
