In this role, you’ll take ownership of key financial products and lead strategy, execution, and optimization—partnering across the organization to deliver competitive solutions that enhance the member experience.

  • Hybrid schedule with up to 3 days/week at our corporate office in Lake Forest, IL.
  • Local Northern IL/Southeast WI candidates only!

What You'll Do

As a Financial Product Manager, you will:

  • Manage and optimize product portfolios across consumer lending, deposit, and real estate products based on business priorities
  • Develop and execute product strategies aligned with organizational goals, market demand, and member experience
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for growth
  • Own the full product lifecycle—from ideation and development through launch, optimization, and retirement
  • Leverage data-driven insights to evaluate performance and recommend enhancements to pricing, features, and positioning
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams across marketing, finance, operations, digital, and risk to deliver successful product outcomes
  • Ensure compliance and operational readiness across all product initiatives
  • Lead product roadmap discussions and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and progress
  • Enhance the member journey by identifying opportunities to improve usability, engagement, and satisfaction
  • Present strategic recommendations to leadership, integrating financial performance, growth metrics, and member feedback

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; OR 8+ years of product management experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5 years of product management experience within financial services - preferred
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing financial products throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple departments and stakeholder groups
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; including presenting to executives
  • Strong understanding of financial product performance metrics, pricing strategies, and portfolio management

      Compensation

      The annual salary range for this role is $103,391 to $165,428. This role is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity. A specific salary offer considers factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

You will be eligible to participate in the 401(k) savings plan at any time.
