  • Role: Performance Engineer/Tester
  • Duration: 6 months to Start off with extensions
  • Location: Austin, Dallas, TX

Note: 5+ Years of Performance testing experience with Strong JMeter, Load Runner, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc. Can work Remote
Specialized in Performance and Reliability Engineering for large scale distributed systems. Experienced in Tool Development, Site Capacity, Scalability and Reliability
  • Expertise in Performance Architecture & Tuning.
  • Develop cloud-based tooling and automation that significantly improved software engineering productivity and reliability, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
  • Extensive Experience with Cloud-based Architecture.
  • Expertise in Application Performance Management.
  • Good Knowledge on Application Cloud Migration & Micro Services Architecture.
  • Expertise in Holiday Readiness.
  • Developed production readiness plan including capacity planning, risk assessment, performance and destructive testing, monitoring and disaster recovery.
  • Identify and mitigate issues to prevent potential defects leak into production.
  • Diagnose production issues and conduct blameless post-mortem focused on root cause analysis, prevention plan, and accountability.
  • Good Knowledge on Site Reliability & Web Engineering
  • Orchestrate continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines that provide traceability and comprehensive test coverage.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
  • Performance tools - LoadRunner/ JMeter/NeoLoad
  • Application Performance Monitoring - Dynatrace / New Relic /App Dynamics
  • Front end performance monitoring
  • Google Cloud or similar cloud experience
  • Automation (preferably Python skills)
