Responsibilities

  • Perform front-desk duties, patient intake, and verify insurance information.

  • Assist physicians with outpatient exams, rooming patients, and clinical documentation.

  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure data integrity.

  • Collect vital signs, medical history, and prepare patients for procedures.

  • Prepare and administer basic clinical tasks under supervision (EKG, specimen collection).

  • Ensure infection control, safety, and equipment sanitation according to protocols.

  • Deliver compassionate patient communication and de-escalate concerns professionally.

  • Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling to optimize throughput.

  • Support revenue cycle activities via accurate coding and billing assistance.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and report findings.

  • Maintain inventory of supplies, restock rooms, and notify when reorders are needed.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Medical assisting certification or relevant credential required.

  • Experience with EHR documentation and ensuring data integrity.

  • Clinical support during outpatient exams including rooming and vital signs.

  • Infection control, safety protocols, and equipment sanitation compliance.

  • Front-desk experience with patient intake and insurance verification.

  • Basic clinical tasks supervision-ready (EKG, specimen collection).

  • Excellent communication to deliver compassionate patient care and de-escalate concerns.

  • Support revenue cycle with accurate coding and billing assistance.
