Job description

Job Description
Are you a fully licensed inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) who is looking for a per diem opportunity in Nationally Recognized Hospital? If so, Atlantic Health is seeking a per diem SLP for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Department at Morristown Medical Center for various weekday shifts and at least two weekend days per month. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients.
Principal Accountabilities:
Essential functions include adult patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately.
Qualifications
Required:
1.New Jersey License to practice Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
2. Graduate of an accredited SLP academic program
Preferred:
  1. Preference given to candidates with weekend and weekday availability.
  2. Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting.
  3. 2-5 years of experience as an SLP in an acute care hospital
  4. Preference given to candidates with experience in instrumental evaluations for dysphagia
