Job description

SVMC seeks per diem RN support in the Cardiac Rehab department. In consultation with the Medical Director and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, this position is responsible for guiding the patient through a safe progression of the patient’s cardiac rehabilitation exercise program.In consultation with the Medical Director and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, this position is responsible for guiding the patient through a safe progression of the patient’s cardiac rehabilitation exercise program.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience
  • Ability to obtain valid Vermont State Registered Nursing license by date of employment required.
  • Health Care Provider BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid Acute Cardiac Life Support ACLS certification required.
