Per Diem RN – Med/Surg (Days)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive medical-surgical care to patients and families. The RN will deliver patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic nursing care to patients across the lifespan.
  • Perform nursing assessments, develop diagnoses, implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Maintain professional nursing standards and promote quality patient care.
  • Participate in shared decision-making and continuous improvement of nursing practices.
  • Support patient and family education throughout the care process.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required (LTC experience not accepted).
  • Previous travel or per diem nursing experience required.
  • Active RN license required.
  • Active BLS certification required.
  • Must be available to work at least 1 shift per month.
  • Resume, skills checklist, licensure, and certification documentation required.
