Are you a skilled ED Technician? If so, join our Emergency Department team of professionals at Jefferson Healthcare! Under the guidance of an RN or physician, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the triage, care, and treatment of patients of all ages with various illnesses and injuries. As our ED Technician, you will also serve as a vital link between members of the healthcare team, patients, and their families. We are looking for a proactive individual who can anticipate the needs of patients and team members and perform their duties within the scope of their practice. Schedule: Per Diem; Variable 12-hour shifts

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • AHA BLS/CPR certification required
  • WA State Nursing Assistant Registered (NA-R), Nursing Assistant Certified (NA-C), Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C), Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) or EMT required
  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy certification required; as a condition of employment, application for MA-Phlebotomist Certification must be submitted within 90 days of hire.
  • ED or urgent care experience preferred
  • Recent emergency department, urgent care, EMT, EMT-B, or related medical experience providing direct patient care preferred
