Job description

Summary - Traveling Electrician:

We are hiring Electricians to join our teams for a multi-year project installing control panels in large-scale distribution centers across the country. Experience in large scale commercial or industrial jobs, EMT expertise and deep understanding of safety protocols is a must, controls or PLC upgrade/install experience is a bonus.

  • Average 72+ hours per week.
  • 1st training in 2-3 weeks, additional teams training/deploying over the next few months. 
  • $30-50/hr, depending on experience and role. OT pay, company paid hotel, vehicle and $45/day food per diem 7 days a week. 
  • 100% travel, 6-8 weeks on the road before return trips home. 

 Requirements - Traveling Electrician:

  • Ability to run/bend conduit, pull, and terminate 480-volt wire to equipment, such as motors, disconnect switches, or electrical panels, in an industrial and/or large commercial setting.
  • Knowledge of LOTO standards, service work, and voltage drop
  • Experience with scissor, boom, and bucket lifts
  • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred, Previous Yellow Badge a bonus.
  • Experience with industrial controls/automation, PLCs panels and I/O wiring also a bonus.
