Job description

Job Opportunity: Per Diem Radiologists

The radiology division within our organization is currently looking for per diem radiologists. This role is affiliated with the Department of Radiology at a prominent medical group.

Location

Our facility is nestled in the picturesque Southern California region, specifically in the Inland Empire. Conveniently positioned between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, we are just an hour away from various activities such as:

  • Surfing at the beach
  • Camping in the desert
  • Skiing in the mountains
  • Enjoying a play in Los Angeles

Additionally, there are six major airports within an hour's drive, enhancing accessibility for our staff and patients.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have an interest in a variety of imaging studies, with mammography being optional. Our department has recently initiated a radiology residency program, which includes an integrated clinical year that began in July 2022. We are experiencing rapid growth to accommodate over 200,000 imaging examinations annually, alongside the ongoing installation of state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily on-site or hourly remote coverage.
  • Remote coverage must be conducted from within California, and applicants must be residents of the state.
  • No work is required before 7 AM or after 8 PM, although hourly shifts are available.
About Our Facility

Our organization operates a 439-bed university-affiliated teaching hospital, featuring over 60 primary and specialty care clinics throughout Riverside County. We host residents from various specialties, medical students, and critical care fellows. Our facility has received recognition as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission, is designated as a Level I Trauma Center, and houses a new Center of Excellence for Research, in addition to being a Primary Stroke Center.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly compensation for this position ranges from $325 to $350. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity bonuses and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Detailed information regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
