Job Description
Perform tests for diagnosis and medical research. Prepare and give small doses of radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients, then use high-level imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the body.
Explain medical procedures to patients and answer any questions they may have.
Follow safety procedures to protect the patients and themselves from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Prepare and administer radioactive drugs to patients.
