Job description

Our client is seeking a Functional Specialist to support their PeopleSoft system. The focus of the Functional Specialist will be to assist the post upgrade support for their PeopleSoft Financials 9.2/Image 52 as well as to provide production support and continued development and testing of PeopleSoft Financials and related applications. Additional responsibilities include completing the Insight dashboards effort. The Functional Specialist will potentially assist with the modules they are currently using or may implement. The Functional Specialist will assist the PeopleSoft support staff and work directly with the Office of Finance, Office of Acquisitions and Office of Logistics and Support.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support the post upgrade of the Clientโ€™s ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application PeopleSoft image 21 to Image 52.

2. Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the House.

3. Plan and complete the Insight dashboards effort, to include standing up the capability and build the module specific dashboards.

4. Work directly with the House staff and other consultants to support the PeopleSoft system, users and related projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

(a)   At least one full lifecycle engagement as a PeopleSoft Financials Consultant/Analyst in a largescale financial systems ERP implementation/upgrade;

(b)  Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in the specific module specified in the request for task order proposals;

(c)   Ability to create, update, and review functional documents such as policies and procedures, operations manuals, change requests and training materials; and

(d)  Strong business/systems analysis experience working closely with users to resolve problems and capture new business requirements.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Knowledge and experience working with the General Ledger, Commitment Control, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, and Asset Management modules in PeopleSoft Financials with relevant experience in version 9.2. Note: Knowledge and experience with the following is a plus, but not required:

2. PeopleSoft Financials at a federal entity;

3. Working with entry events and the flow of accounting transactions between Purchasing, Commitment Control, and General Ledger; and/or

4. PeopleSoft reporting tools (nVision, Crystal, PS Query), and PeopleSoft security administration
