We are looking for Peoplesoft Financial Consultant in Raleigh, NC for 12+ months contract position

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or other related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work
  • Must have at least three (3) years of Information Technology complex functional consulting experience (10 years required if no four year degree)
  • 2 full years of PeopleSoft Financials/SCM Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementations, specifically with Contracts Management, eSupplier Connection, and Strategic Sourcing
  • Strong understanding of business requirements, processes, and implementation approaches
  • Demonstrated experience as a successful driver of people and projects
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to create functional specifications, design documents, training materials, test scripts, etc.
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, fit/gap analysis, documenting design, test planning and execution, test script development and execution, training strategy and development of training materials, and overall implementation planning
  • Proven ability to evaluate configuration options to leverage PeopleSoft delivered functionality
  • Must demonstrate sound judgment of when to escalate issues
  • Must be comfortable providing expert guidance on critical project decisions
  • Need to have experience being a change-agent and being able to reengineer, develop, implement and maintain policies and processes as well as be a creative and an independent thinker
  • Must have PeopleSoft FSCM/HCM/EPM/Portal experience 8
  • Must have government experience, preferably local government
  • Must have PeopleSoft Technical and Functional experience
  • Ability to engage appropriate resources from the City at appropriate phases of the project(s)
