Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Pega Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise applications within a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate brings strong Pega development expertise, solid SQL/PL-SQL skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
Must-Have Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Pega development
  • Proficiency in SQL / PL-SQL
  • 5+ years of applied software engineering experience
  • Solid understanding of modern SDLC practices

Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Smart Investigate framework
  • Exposure to Cloud environments

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality, secure software solutions using Pega and related technologies.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting and resolve issues with consideration for upstream/downstream system impacts.
  • Write clean, maintainable code in at least one programming language.
  • Apply SDLC tools and automation practices to improve development efficiency and stability.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, code quality standards, and security guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and test-driven development initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
  • 5+ years of practical experience in software development.
  • Proven ability to develop, debug, and maintain code in a large corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Pega design techniques, rule creation, integrations, and UI components.
  • Good understanding of database querying and PL/SQL.
  • Working proficiency with SDLC tools and methodologies.
