Job Description:

Seeking a candidate located in the specified area.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the Department's overall systems architecture.

2. Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the Department.

3. Review, advise and design standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs vs. benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.

4. Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.

5. Assist in the development of and manage an architecture governance process.

6. Provide technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate.

7. Assist in systems analysis and design, and have a solid understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

A minimum of 7 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/systems environments performing systems planning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software)and optimization.

Experience in providing senior-level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the Department's overall systems architecture.

Experience providing technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate.

Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Able to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida.

Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA) certification.

Pega Business Architecture experience of 7 years or more.

Experience utilizing Pega Blueprint to facilitate requirements gathering and solution design.
