Position: Industrial Electrician
Location: Weirton, WV
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 60 hours per week
Pay: Up to $36/hr for local commuters / $30/hr with $100/PD for travelers

Position Overview

Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team in Weirton, WV. This role involves supporting industrial electrical installations and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with wire pulling and termination for anode furnace systems
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot AC/DC power systems
  • Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Execute installation of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with project specifications
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in industrial electrical work
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Must supply basic hand tools
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
  • OSHA 10 certification or PEC card required
  • Must have all required PPE, including Type 2 fire-retardant clothing
