Job description

Salary Range: $40/HR.
OFF -DUTY amp; RETIRED ARMED LAW ENFORCEMENT
Rockford, IL
Shifts Available: 12hr shifts 24/7
Requirements OFF-DUTY:
  • Must be an active certified Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer, in good standing with employed Department(s)
  • Must be able to provide (VE-PEC) verification of employment as Peace Officer documentation from employed Department(s)
  • Must have ability to maintain composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone).
  • Must have reliable transportation
Requirements RETIRED OFF-DUTY:
    • Retired certified Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer for over (1) year
    • Required: Permanent Employee Registration Card (PER Card)
    • Required: 20hr Security Training Certificate
    • Required: 20hr Armed Training Certificate or IROCC
    • Required: FOID Card
    • Valid Illinois Drivers License
    Duties and responsibilities:
    • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.
    • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
    • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Enforcing security policies and procedures at all events
    Working conditions:
    • All sites consist of outdoor post that will involve inclement weather conditions
    Physical requirements
    • Job may require standing and or walking for extended periods of time
