The PDI Apprentice Technician is a position in training. The position will learn how to inspect and prepare newly acquired vehicles to be front-line ready.
** Must be able to drive a Manual Transmission **

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect all lubrication levels and add proper lubrication, as required.
  • Inspect all new vehicles for obvious damages and missing components.
  • Replace defective items according to specifications.
  • Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper operation of brakes, transmission and engine operation.
  • Activate power equipment such as electric windows, seats, radio, horn, lights, and directional signals to ensure specified operating standards.
  • Able to touch up any minor chips and scratches on paint.
  • Install optional equipment specified, such as outside mirrors, rugs, and seat covers.
  • Install or replace standard components, such as hubcaps and wiper blades.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • ASE and OEM certification preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
