Automotive Detailer / PDI Technician

Position Overview:

DePaula Mazda is looking for a dependable and motivated Automotive Detailer / PDI Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing new and used vehicles for delivery by completing cleaning, detailing, inspection, and pre-delivery tasks.

***No prior automotive detailing experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash, vacuum, clean, and prepare vehicles for delivery.
  • Complete basic pre-delivery Inspection (PDI) procedures.
  • Check vehicles for cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition.
  • Follow dealership/company standards and inspection procedures.
  • Move and park vehicles safely as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining quality.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • No previous experience required; training provided.
  • Valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Able to work outdoors and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.

Schedule:

  • Tuesday – Saturday
