PBM Sales refers to the process of selling products or services related to Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs). PBMs are third-party administrators that manage prescription drug benefits on behalf of health insurers, Medicare Part D drug plans, large employers, and other payers. In PBM Sales, professionals work to promote and sell PBM services such as pharmacy network management, formulary design, and cost-containment solutions to clients. The goal is to help organizations manage drug costs while improving patient outcomes.

To thrive as a PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) Sales professional, you need a solid background in pharmaceutical services, healthcare sales, and knowledge of PBM products, often supported by a bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and industry-specific platforms is typically required.
