Hiring: Payroll Tax Specialist (Backend Payroll)

Location :North Chicago, IL 60064

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle post-payroll processing and payroll tax activities
• Work with state agencies, tax vendors, and third-party administrators
• Manage tax notices, power of attorney documentation, and third-party authorizations
• Support multi-state payroll tax compliance and filings (federal, state, FICA)
• Assist with payroll tax reporting and issue resolution
• Participate in testing and project-related payroll tax activities
• Collaborate through internal ticketing systems and vendor communications

Required Skills:
• 2–3 years of payroll tax experience
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and FICA tax regulations
• Experience with payroll tax filing and compliance processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite

Additional Details:
• 100% onsite role
• Strong team collaboration with internal teams and external tax vendors
