Position Overview
PMI is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Administrator I to join our Finance team. This position plays an important role in supporting payroll tax operations by processing tax payments, assisting with tax filings, maintaining compliance-related records, and helping ensure our clients' tax obligations are met accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
  • Process daily payroll tax payments and ACH tax files.
  • Assist with quarterly and year-end tax preparation activities.
  • Complete client tax registrations and conversion-related tax activities.
  • Process service terminations and determine outstanding tax liabilities or refunds.
  • Perform Social Security verifications and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Cross-train within the department and provide backup support as needed.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws and procedures.
  • Payroll processing experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
