Position Overview

 

Mt. Hood Meadows is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic accounting team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing, while also supporting key accounts payable and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate brings strong payroll expertise, sound judgment, confidence, and a collaborative mindset, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical business practices.

In this vital role, you will:

  • Manage the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices while maintaining compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage, collect and review timekeeping information, process employee reimbursements, and issue paychecks which are complete and correct, perform withholdings (including wage garnishments), issue deferred executive compensation checks, voluntary contributions to benefits programs and any related tax payments.

Your expertise and attention to detail will help drive the accuracy of our financial operations, and support vendor relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced organization committed to excellence while enjoying the outdoor environment and collaborating with a fantastic fun-loving team.

This is a Full-Time, Year-Round Benefitted position

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Requires prior experience equivalent to three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in payroll administration.
  • Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience 
  • 18 years of age or older 
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word and Outlook
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills 
  • Prior experience with accounting systems and payroll applications 
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, maturity and judgment 
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business 
  • Must be able to confidently respond to and handle discrepancies/reconciliations
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate in a professional manner 
  • Employment in this position is subject to satisfactory background screening

  •  Experience with Ceridian Dayforce

Compensation:

  • Starting Wage: $28.00 - $34.00 hourly
