ARG Communications. is seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Manager to oversee financial operations, support administrative functions, and contribute to the smooth running of our office. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for operational excellence.

Financial & Payroll Management
  • Process payroll accurately, including prevailing wage, commissions, deductions, and PTO
  • Assist employees with 401(k) enrollment and ensure compliance with required filings
  • Maintain precise records of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Manage vendor payments and customer invoicing, including follow-ups
  • Handle deposits and credit card transactions; review and reconcile monthly statements
  • Prepare and file payment applications, lien releases, and related contractor documentation

Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly usage reports for state contracts
  • Coordinate with insurance providers for audits and inspections
  • Support audits from external agencies and bureaus
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation for the outside accountant

Administrative & Operational Support
  • Assist with property management tasks such as tenant billing and mortgage documentation
  • Administer service contracts and maintain customer database with expiration tracking
  • Obtain vendor quotes and calculate customer pricing using established formulas
  • Order jobsite equipment and approve office supply purchases
  • Provide backup support for administrative assistant (scheduling, phones, etc.)
  • Attend occasional networking events or mixers outside regular business hours
  • Delegate tasks to administrative and receptionist staff once processes are mastered
