Commonwealth Staffing is assisting our sister company Commonwealth Payroll in their search for an Implementation Specialist. Commonwealth Payroll is a leading provider of payroll and human capital management services, headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. Job Duties- The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Setup of new clients in payroll, human resources, and time and attendance systems;
  • Verify accuracy of all client and employee data entered prior to going live;
  • Communicate timelines and expectation with client and internal sales and payroll operations teams;
  • Train new clients on how to use our software and best practices
  • Communicate with clients over the phone and via email to answer questions related to use of our web-based payroll, human resources, and time and attendance systems;
  • Other ad hoc projects and duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-3+ years of knowledge and experience with payroll implementations or an accounting background.
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to meet tight deadlines,
  • High level of detail-orientation, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
