Dudek is seeking aย meticulousย Payroll Data &ย Reporting Specialistย to enhance payroll operations through data analysis andย effective data reporting. This role will focus onย maintainingย and monitoringย data integrityย across allย current and future payroll data platformsย to consistentlyย ensureย continuityย throughoutย a multitude ofย payrollย workflows.ย Essential contributions of this roleย areย toย proactivelyย identifyย inconsistencies in payroll dataย asย it relates toย payment, posting, reporting, and compliance.ย ย 

Advanceย knowledge andย application ofย ongoingย disciplines such asย multiple stateย payrollย laws,ย payroll operations, payroll systems,ย andย payroll reporting areย key to success in this role. The position partners closely withย Payrollย Leadership,ย Internalย Dudek Departments,ย Special Teams, andย External Entitiesย to deliverย timelyย and thoroughย insights and practical solutions thatย enhanceย payrollย relatedย efficiency,ย accountability, and scalability.ย 

*Work Environment: This role will be on-site for the first 90 days after which eligibility for hybrid work will be evaluated.

Duties and Responsibilitiesย ย 

  • Analytics and Reporting:ย Develop,schedule,ย maintain, andย provideย essentialย payroll reporting and data matrix.ย Establish validating reports for internal and external useย thatย incorporates payroll laborย and earnings detailsย forย departmental audits,ย orย a range ofย reconciliationย needsย that;identifydata flux, anomalies, and discrepancies; and troubleshoot data issues.ย 
  • Systems and Data Integrity:Validateworkflows, data integrations, andย system exceptionsย or fallouts toย ensure alignment betweenย all payrollย operatingย and paymentย systems;maintaindata consistency across platformsย to meet expectationsย for employee and employerย records.ย 
  • Configuration and Testing:ย Support system configuration updates inย payroll systemsย forย departmental export and import files, templates, andย business changesย with impact to payroll systems;participateinย implementations and conductย testing for payrollย updates to all related systemsย prior to 'go-live',ย benefitsย enrollments, andย otherย system enhancements.ย 
  • Audit and Compliance:ย Supportย year-roundย auditreadiness,ย monthly, quarterly,ย year-end reporting andaccuratetax filings through data validation, reconciliations, and documentation; proactivelyidentifyand mitigate risks. Work closely withย payrollย leadership onย supplemental payrollย runs, quarterly adjustment runs,ย and prior quarter adjustment runs to ensureย complianceย alignment withย theย accountingย calendarย andย fullย inclusivenessย of all necessary and known adjustmentsย inย aย timelyย matter.ย 
  • Payroll Processing Support:ย Provideย pre- and post-payroll audit checks, data validation, andย compliance reviewย from ongoing data integrity audits and reporting.Ensure payroll teams are aware of systemย discrepancies or potentialย issues for resolution prior to closingย periods prematurely. Crosstrain on key payrollย operationย processesย toย reduce departmental vulnerabilities, asย determinedย by payroll leadership.ย 
  • Tax and State Compliance Support:ย Assist withย creating andย maintainingย stateย taxย records,ย client responsibleย taxย filing, andย BLSย reportingย data.ย 

Minimum Qualificationsย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferredย 
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll, data analysis, or related fieldย 
  • Strong analytical andย critical thinking skillsย 
  • Experience working with payroll systemsย ย 
  • Advanced Excel skillsย 
  • Strongย diligenceย and organizational skillsย 
  • Ability to manage confidential informationย 

Preferred Qualificationsย 

  • 3 Yearsย Experience with Dayforceย 
  • Experience withย Deltekย VantagePoint or similarย systemsย 
  • Professional services industryย experienceย 
  • Prevailing Wage Certified Payrollย experienceย 
  • Experience with systems implementations and special projectsย ย 
  • CPP or FCPย certification.ย 

Compensation: $43.00-$48.00 hourly*ย 

*Finalย agreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check prior to beginning employment.ย
