Job description

The Payroll Admin plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing within a small, focused team. This position supports payroll operations by maintaining data accuracy, generating payroll reports, and assisting with year-end payroll activities. The role occasionally interacts with external auditors and regulatory bodies, requiring confidentiality and strong communication skills. Experience with UKG payroll software is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule using UKG software
  • Prepare and maintain payroll reports for internal and external use
  • Support year-end payroll processes including audits and reconciliations
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
  • Collaborate with a small team of payroll professionals
  • Assist during interactions with external auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Will also assist in AP/AR duties

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with payroll software, especially UKG, ADP, or Paychex
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent data accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality
