Job description

We're looking for a Product Manager to join Procore's Fintech & Payments business unit. In this role, you'll contribute to the strategy and execution of our Compliance and Payments Risk Management solution that is purpose-built for the construction industry. Your primary goal is to reduce financial and operational risk for our customers by turning complex compliance requirements into scalable, intuitive product experiences.

As a Product Manager, you'll partner with Engineering, Design, Legal, and our Risk and Compliance teams to define and deliver features that help customers manage vendor and project-level compliance end-to-end. Use your deep understanding of construction payment risk, contract law, and product strategy to build solutions that protect our customers' businesses and set the standard for compliance in the industry. Procore is transforming how the world builds. Join us and help make sure that transformation is built on a foundation of trust and financial integrity. Apply today.

This position reports to the Director of Product Management, Procore Pay and will be based in our Austin, TX office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you'll do:

  • Define and own the product roadmap for Procore's Compliance and Payments Risk Management solution, aligning priorities with business goals and customer needs.

  • Conduct discovery with customers, internal stakeholders, and industry experts to deeply understand construction payment risk and compliance workflows.

  • Translate contract language, lien waiver requirements, and regulatory frameworks into clear, actionable product requirements.

  • Partner with Engineering and Design to deliver features that automate and streamline vendor and project-level compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Finance teams to ensure the product meets evolving regulatory and contractual standards.

  • Define and monitor key product metrics, using data to inform decisions and communicate progress to leadership.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for construction fintech and compliance solutions.

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on payment risk, surfacing insights that inform broader Procore product and go-to-market strategy.

  • At Procore, AI isn’t a specialized tool, it's a core competency. We expect every team member to be AI-literate, leveraging generative tools and agentic workflows to move faster and work smarter. You won’t just use AI; you’ll be building the agentic future of construction

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or a compliance-adjacent domain — or equivalent practical experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction industry payments, including lien rights, waivers, retainage, and subcontractor compliance.

  • Familiarity with how contract language drives risk management at the vendor and project level.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to prioritize, validate, and measure product decisions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning cross-functional teams around a shared vision.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and able to drive clarity in complex, regulated problem spaces.

  • Experience working with or alongside legal, risk, or compliance teams is a strong plus.

Base Pay Range:

140,960.00 - 193,820.00 USD Annual
