Who You Are
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll lead a product area with clear ownership and accountability, collaborating closely with design, engineering, and GTM teams to deliver impactful features and seamless experiences. You bring structure to ambiguity, thrive on translating strategic plans into execution, and drive outcomes through strong discovery, rigorous documentation, and cross-functional alignment. Your work will directly impact Fortune 1000 clients and global security teams who rely on Ontic to make critical decisions every day, and you'll play a key role in influencing roadmaps and product direction through the insights and results you deliver.
Responsibilities
  • Set and own the long-term vision and strategy for your product area, aligning cross-functional teams around impactful, scalable outcomes
  • Lead product discovery efforts including customer interviews, validation cycles, and insight gathering from internal stakeholders
  • Identify and validate opportunities to apply AI or automation within your product area, focusing on business impact, user value, and practical implementation
  • Translate user feedback, market insights, and product strategy into clear, actionable requirements and well-prioritized backlogs
  • Drive day-to-day execution by collaborating closely with engineering and design to scope, build, and deliver high-quality features
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to plan product launches, support go-to-market activities, and enable client adoption
  • Define and track success metrics to measure adoption, retention, satisfaction, and product health
  • Run retrospectives and deep-dive product health reviews to inform continuous improvement and delivery velocity
  • Refine team processes and sprint rituals to improve clarity, consistency, and delivery outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product delivery with broader company goals and strategic initiatives
  • Mentor Associate and mid-level PMs, providing guidance on execution, documentation, and stakeholder communication

Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a track record of delivering impactful B2B SaaS products
  • Familiarity with AI-powered product features or automation use cases, including how to assess impact and prioritize use cases
  • Experience setting product vision within a defined area and aligning cross-functional teams toward execution
  • Strong discovery skills with the ability to translate user insights into validated, high-value solutions
  • Proficiency in defining and interpreting product metrics to guide decision-making and iteration
  • Comfortable driving execution in agile environments with fast-moving teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience mentoring other PMs or leading by example within a high-performing product team
  • Familiarity with security or risk management domains is a plus
  • Preference for Austin TX based candidates
