The Blake's Orchard Inc. Retail Sales Associate is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services that we as a company represent. In this critical customer retail position, you will be assisting customers in purchasing Blake's retail products while upholding the Company's Core Values.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Engage customers with a friendly, helpful approach to drive sales and encourage product discovery.
  • Create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest who visits Blake Farms.
  • Stay informed on current promotions and product offerings to best assist guests.
  • Help guests locate products and navigate the store with ease.
  • Respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously, whether in person or over the phone.
  • Support cashiers by retrieving products and keeping the checkout process moving efficiently.
  • Uphold product quality standards by inspecting items before they reach guests.
  • Ensure retail and bakery areas are fully stocked and guest-ready by preparing and replenishing products in alignment with business demand.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Process guest payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, card, and other accepted payment methods
  • Provide correct change and receipts as applicable, maintaining accuracy in all transactions

Requirements
Education, Skills & Knowledge
  • No prior experience required.
  • Skills required for doing this job include robust communication skills, great teamwork skills and robust problem-solving skills
  • Ability to move efficiently and timely
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, lifting, kneeling, and reaching will be required
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds

Working Conditions
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud at times.
  • The work for this position will be exposed to outside weather conditions, smoke free environment, and in other business locations. The normal auto and air travel hazards will apply. Most work will be performed in climate-controlled spaces.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
