Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, connecting with business owners, and creating opportunities for our sales team.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, comfortable with technology, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where initiative and results are rewarded.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound outreach to local businesses via phone, email, and social media.
  • Introduce prospective clients to our payment processing and business service solutions.
  • Utilize CRM and sales tools, including HubSpot, to manage leads and track activity.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities within the Maryland market.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with local business owners and decision-makers.
  • Gather and update prospect information to maintain accurate customer records.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and management to generate qualified sales opportunities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity and lead generation goals.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging prospects.
  • Proficiency with computers and common business software.
  • Experience with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
