Job description

Delivery Truck Driver (20’ Box Truck) — Full-Time (Mon–Fri)

Company: CFR Patio
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience + performance)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional days up to 7:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Start: ASAP
Probationary Period: 90 days

About CFR Patio

CFR Patio is a small, growing company serving customers with outdoor furniture delivery and service. We’re looking for a reliable driver who takes pride in showing up, communicating clearly, and representing our company well at customer sites.

What You’ll Do / Responsibilities

  • Drive a 20’ box truck to make deliveries and pickups
  • Load/unload furniture and materials safely and efficiently
  • Secure cargo properly (blankets, straps, pads, safe stacking)
  • Follow scheduled routes and maintain on-time delivery performance
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service at delivery sites
  • Complete basic paperwork (delivery confirmations, notes, photos as needed)
  • Perform pre-trip/post-trip briefings and report maintenance needs
  • Work with the team to stage, organize, and prepare loads
  • Organize the furniture staging yard, tagging customer furniture with their respective order numbers
  • Take photos of finished / installed deliveries
  • Organize the delivery truck and their equipment / folding moving blankets for the next day and preparing the truck's with their sales equipment

Requirements (Must Have)

  • Clean driving record and safe driving habits
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to pass a physical exam
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. (and perform repeated lifting throughout the day)
  • Reliable transportation to/from work
  • Comfortable working some days as late as 7:30 PM when needed
  • Strong reliability: show up on time, every day, communicate early if issues arise
  • Preferably lives close to our workshop in Pomona, CA

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Bilingual: Spanish/English (highly desired)
  • Prior experience driving a box truck (delivery, moving, furniture, appliance delivery, etc.)
  • Familiarity with using a smartphone for navigation, photos, and basic communication
  • Experience working in a small company / hands-on environment

Time Off Benefits

  • Paid Sick Time: 40 hours provided per 365 days

    • 1 week accrued starting after 1 year of employment

Compensation & Job Details

  • $20.00–$25.00/hr depending on experience and performance
  • Full-time hours, Monday–Friday
  • 90-day probationary period with performance review
  • Overtime may be available depending on workload (as applicable)
