Job description

Mission: To provide the customer with any basic need that is both a VALUE to the customer as well as being an asset to the company.

General Purpose of Job: To assist customer(s) with their basic needs in a professional business manner. Following industry standards and the practices and techniques set forth by Aqua Pool & Patio and its supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to help customer(s) by the means necessary to do a job as stated by (but not limited to) greeting, answering phones, water analyzing, ringing up of product, maintaining an accurate cash drawer and logging in paperwork that is associated to the task at hand. (i.e. work orders/delivery orders)

Responsibilities are: (but not necessarily limited to)

  • Provide basic knowledge of swimming pools and their essentials to customer(s).
  • Maintain a regular attendance directed by your supervisor
  • Operate a safe and clean working environment.
  • Maintain proper inventory by ringing out customer(s) with correct product and returning any product no longer needed following the policies set forth by the company and its supervisors.
  • Maintain and operate company workstations in a courteous, safe and professional manner by obeying all rules set forth by Aqua Pool & Patio and its Supervisors.
  • Maintain and operate all equipment in a safe and professional manner in the intent that they were designed for and reporting any faulty, unsafe or deficient equipment to your supervisor for repair or replacement.

Education and Experience: No special education required, but you must be able to read and interpret instructions, documents, safety guidelines, testing procedures and their results. Follow and give verbal/written instructions, as well as be able to communicate with others in a way that is commonly understood. You must posses some basic math skills, including percentage, addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

Physical Demands: You must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, bend over and balance at undetermined times of the day. Be able to lift and or traverse up to 50lbs. Focus and see in different colors and differentiate between particular scales and sizes. Hear/detect the things going on around you, alarms, noises, warnings and understand them. You must be able to remain standing most of the day.

Work Environment: You must be able to work in conditions around chemicals, fumes and or particles that may enter into the work place. Able to work well with other company employees, must be aware of and able to avoid any dangers or hazards in the working environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job holds no supervisory responsibility, but the employee is responsible for assistance, guidance, warnings, or communications to others about the condition of their work areas or equipment to maintain the safety, and goodwill to our customers and fellow employees.
