Job Summary
Under the supervision of licensed personnel, provides direct care to patients according to the Shannon Medical Standards of Care, policies and procedures. The Patient Care Tech has both team member and patient care responsibilities that requires judgements, accountability and follow through. Within these responsibilities, accepting delegation, communicating effectively and confidentiality, recording accurate information, demonstrating flexibility and maintaining a safe environment by completing unit related services are critical to issues in this position. Under general supervision, performs a variety of clerical, secretarial and related duties and responsibilities.
