Job description

Landmark Hospital of Columbia is expanding! We are seeking compassionate Patient Care Techs who are committed to delivering great patient care to hospital patients. This is a great opportunity to work alongside our nursing, respiratory and rehabilitation teams in an acute-care setting. Landmark Hospital values our Patient Care Techs as a significant role in overall care as our patient's journey toward healing.
Shifts: Full Time & PRN Day, Night & Weekend Shifts available. Competitive compensation and benefits package for full-time workers. (We have 12 hour shifts and Full time is 3 shifts a week, PRN is a minimum of 1 shift every every 2 weeks.)
Key Duties: Perform basic care skills under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse including vital signs, intake/output measurement, catheter care, CPR, restraint management, bowel and bladder training, and documentation of care in the patient record. Responsible for assisting the licensed nurse in meeting the patient's needs in the areas of personal hygiene, personal care, skin care, grooming, rest, activity, nourishment, body mechanics, elimination, and psychosocial support.
Requirements for Patient Care Tech (PCT) / Certified Nursing Asst (CNA)
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Certification (Certified Nursing Assistant for State of Missouri) Preferred
  • Current BLS
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Long-term acute care/hospital experience preferred
