Job Summary
Lead Sales Professional selling service parts, bulk fluids, attachments, and accessories. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. Identifies and provides complete parts solutions for customers. Resolves customer issues and promotes customer satisfaction with their team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Mentors parts department employees
-Quickly establish rapport and relationship with customers
-Provides quality customer experience through knowledge, use of systems, and process execution
-Assists Regional Parts Manager in performance management by communicating and tracking metrics and observed behaviors
-Identifies continuous improvements in the areas of growing sales, increasing customer experience, and employee engagement
-Provides parts recommendations including alternatives that meet customers' needs
-Maintains professional showroom image and merchandise displays
-Ensures parts and attachment warehouses are kept orderly and clean
-Responsible for maintaining inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations; assisting in cycle counts; following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues
-Ensures parts warranty claims have been routed to Central Warranty for submission
-Ensures all departmental tools and equipment are in good working order
-Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skillset
-Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
-Ensure that the company's reputation and image in the community is consistent with company Core Values
-Work extended hours or weekends to accommodate seasonality or as needed
-Make sure the department is staffed to meet customers needs
Position Qualifications
-3+ years of previous experience as a parts sales professional or related experience
-Proven ability to lead others
-Excellent data entry/keyboarding skills
-Advanced parts and machinery knowledge
-Ability to connect with customers, maintain a professional image, establish rapport
-Understands basic selling processes
-Ability to use a computer and related software required
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly
-High School diploma or equivalent experience
-Forklift license preferred
