This individual will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, developing strategic client relationships, driving new business opportunities across market sectors, and expanding the company's geographic service area.

Essential Duties:
  • Generate qualified leads and identify new business opportunities throughout the Wichita market and surrounding region.
  • Expand the company's footprint by building relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline from prospect identification through project award.
  • Actively network within the community by participating in industry organizations, business events, trade associations, and client functions.
  • Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with operations, estimating, and leadership teams to develop winning pursuit strategies and proposals.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, qualifications packages, interviews, and proposal submissions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming project opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline and forecasting updates to leadership.
  • Represent the company professionally while promoting our values, capabilities, and commitment to client success.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Business Development experience in the Wichita market.
  • Experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is required.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
