A growing U.S.-based industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior

Business Development Manager to lead expansion efforts across multiple industrial markets.

Our firm has been retained to identify a commercial leader with experience selling technical manufacturing solutions who can build strong customer relationships, develop new revenue streams, and expand existing strategic accounts.

This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, growing strategic partnerships, and identifying market opportunities within industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within industrial manufacturing and related sectors
    • Develop relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, contractors, and industrial customers
    • Expand existing customer relationships while securing new strategic accounts
    • Create and execute sales strategies for market growth

Strategic Account Growth

  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for high-value customer relationships
    • Partner with internal teams to develop customized product and manufacturing solutions
    • Identify opportunities for long-term supply agreements and recurring revenue

Sales Execution

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation
    • Maintain a structured pipeline and sales forecast using CRM tools
    • Support technical evaluations, product trials, and commercial rollouts

Industry Engagement

  • Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings
    • Track market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activity

Qualifications

    • Experience working with CRM platforms and structured sales pipelines
