What will you do as Account Manager at Sealed Air?
The Account Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining, and growing an established customer portfolio across Virginia and portions of West Virginia and North Carolina for Sealed Air's Cryovac® packaging and equipment solutions. This role focuses on protecting existing business while identifying new opportunities to drive profitable growth through consultative selling, strategic account planning, and strong customer relationships. The Account Manager partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven solutions that improve customer operations while achieving annual sales objectives.

  • Identify, execute, and quantify value improvement opportunities for key customer accounts.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities through proactive territory management and customer engagement.
  • Manage opportunities from lead generation through successful implementation and ongoing account support.
  • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (C4C) to manage pipeline, forecasting, account planning, and collaboration.
  • Partner with Technical Service, Product Specialists, Marketing, Customer Service, Inside Sales, Credit, and Accounts Receivable teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage travel and entertainment expenses within the annual budget while maximizing customer engagement.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through responsiveness, professionalism, and solution-oriented support.

What skills will help you succeed?
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Driver's License with the ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Experience managing customer portfolios and developing strategic account plans.
  • Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities with the capability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong customer focus.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Pay Transparency
Total Target Compensation (Base + Comission):
$103,600 - $166,750 annually
The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
