Program Manager

Summary The Program Manager oversees implementation and coordination of the Child Abuse Prevention Council (HOPE Collaborative) and related outreach activities across Riverside County. This position provides leadership, supervision, and support to a team responsible for collaborative coordination, community outreach, and family engagement activities designed to promote awareness, prevention, and connection to community resources. The Program Manager ensures program operations are aligned with agency goals, contract deliverables, and regional priorities


Essential Duties:

Program Oversight and Supervision

1 . Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and support to HOPE program staff, ensuring quality performance, accountability, and compliance with agency and funder expectations.

  1. Coordinate and oversee select Regional HOPE Collaboratives, ensuring that meetings, events, and outreach activities are effectively planned, staffed, and executed.
  2. Meet regularly with each Collaborative chair to draft agendas, review minutes, and identify follow-up actions.
  3. Review and finalize minutes drafted from secretary's notes in coordination with Collaborative chairs.
  4. Monitor and assist with Collaborative budgets, ensuring appropriate spending and compliance with fiscal policies.
  5. Support Collaboratives in ordering supplies, coordinating venues, and arranging refreshments for events and meetings.
  6. Participate in monthly regional Collaborative meetings as assigned.

Community Engagement and Outreach

  1. Manage program outreach efforts, including community presentations, awareness workshops, and parent education trainings to promote HOPE program goals.
  2. Coordinate select annual community forums and other countywide events.
  3. Conduct information and referral advocacy for families through community events, meetings, and outreach activities.

1 1 . Research and facilitate purchasing of outreach materials and educational resources.

  1. Serve as agency representative at community events, committees, and coalitions.

Program Reporting and Administration

  1. Compile, analyze, and report HOPE statistics, demographics, and outcome data in compliance with contract requirements.
  2. Assist in the development of HOPE printed materials, publications, and reports, including the annual report, outcomes plan, and scorecard.
  3. Support administrative duties related to the HOPE project as delegated by the Program Administrator.

  1. Participate in HOPE event planning committees and contribute to ongoing program development.

Training and Compliance

  1. Maintain current Mandated Reporter training and facilitate Mandated Reporter trainings throughout Riverside County as needed.
  2. Ensure program activities align with agency policies, contractual obligations, and confidentiality requirements.
  3. Provide services and attend events throughout Riverside County as needed, including evenings and weekends. 20. Punctual and regular attendance. 21 . Other duties as assigned

Report to: Community Services Director

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  1. . M.S/M.A in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or related field required.
  2. Minimum three (3) years of experience in program coordination, community engagement, or collaborative leadership.
    1. Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
    2. Experience working with diverse populations and community-based partnerships.
    3. Strong leadership, supervision, and team-building skills.
    4. Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational abilities.
    5. Knowledge of community resources and systems of care within Riverside County
    6. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
    7. Ability to work flexible hours (as needed)
    8. Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

M.S/M.A in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or related field required.

CA Driver's License

Physical & Mental Demands:

  3. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  4. Ability to travel
