Job description

We are looking for the right people — people who want to innovate, achieve, grow and lead. We attract and retain the best talent by investing in our employees and empowering them to develop themselves and their careers. Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.

Job Duties

Landmark, a Halliburton company, builds the software and data platforms that help the global energy industry make better decisions. Our products span subsurface interpretation, well construction planning, reservoir simulation, and digital operations — tools used daily by engineers and scientists at the world’s largest energy companies. Underneath those products sits a data platform that ingests, harmonizes, and exposes the industry’s most demanding data, and we are investing to make that platform a coherent, AI-ready foundation — and increasingly a product in its own right.

The Director of Technology Development leads technology strategy, product innovation, and business growth initiatives. The role combines technical leadership, product development, and commercial insight to create technology solutions that deliver measurable business value and strengthen the company’s market position.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology and product development roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the development of new products and digital solutions from concept to market.
• Drive innovation across cloud, infrastructure, IT/OT, and emerging technologies.
• Translate customer and business needs into product and technology strategies.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships and technology ecosystems.
• Lead cross-functional teams across technology, product, and business functions.
• Evaluate market trends and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
• Support executive leadership with technology strategy, investment priorities, and business planning.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications
• Extensive experience in technology leadership, product development, and digital transformation.
• Strong technical background across enterprise technology, cloud platforms, and IT/OT environments.
• Proven track record of developing successful products and bringing them to market.
• Experience in business development, partner management, and commercial strategy.
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to connect technology to business outcomes.
Leadership Profile
• Strategic and forward-looking technology leader.
• Strong communicator across technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
• Combines technical depth with product and business acumen.
• Proven ability to drive innovation, growth, and organizational impact.

Why Landmark

The data platform is the foundation under AAM/UEM and is increasingly positioned as a sellable product in its own right. This role owns the technical heart of that — with real scope, a peer product partner, and the authority to set the architecture.

We build small, high-ownership teams and invest in the quality of every person on them. Engineers and architects here co-author the product strategy alongside product management and domain science: the art of the possible is an engineering contribution, not a function that sits upstream.

You will work in a business where software is the product, solving technically demanding problems in a domain where your improvements have visible, measurable impact. We offer competitive compensation including bonus and long-term incentive programs, and the scope to build something that lasts.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum qualifications may be acquired through technical schools or equivalent related experience. Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available from the Director of Product Management - Innovation and Marketing.
