Sabanto

Full-time

Job description

Sabanto is a venture-backed, Illinois-based technology company on a mission to drive autonomy into agriculture.

We believe the agriculture industry's lack of labor and high capital expense will drive the adoption of autonomous equipment. It's this very spirit that drives us to build a robotic machinery platform, delivering a service that brings unprecedented efficiency, productivity, and cost to farmers. Join our fast-growing, industrious, and passionate team of innovators as we continue to disrupt the multi-billion-dollar agriculture industry.

As Product Marketing Manager, you will be the connective tissue between what we build and how the world understands it. This role exists to translate product work into clear positioning, repeatable launch processes, and the training and enablement materials that help our customers, dealers, sales team, and field application engineers get full value from every release. You'll report to the VP of Product and sit close to the roadmap making sure the story we tell in the market matches what's actually being built.

This is not a pure demand generation role. It's equal parts strategist, writer, educator, and launch operator. If you've owned product marketing end-to-end at a startup moving fluidly from strategy to execution without losing the thread - this role was designed for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES

Product Launch

  • Own the release launch playbook for every major feature, vOS release, and compatibility update - from messaging to internal alignment to customer-facing announcement
  • Develop and maintain a repeatable launch process so no release goes to market without a coordinated communication plan
  • Write and deliver product release communications for existing customers (email, in-app, changelog)

        Customer Training & Onboarding

        • Develop and maintain comprehensive customer training programs for autonomy system installation, Mission Control (web and mobile), and best practices for sod and row-crop field operations.
        • Create onboarding materials that accelerate customer adoption and reduce time-to-first autonomous field operation.
        • Produce user documentation, video tutorials, and reference guides that empower customers with self-service resources and reduce support requests.
        • Travel to customer and dealer locations to deliver hands-on, one-on-one product installation, onboarding, and operational training.
        • Plan and deliver virtual and in-person training sessions for customers, dealers, and internal teams covering product operation, best practices, new features, and the value of Sabanto's autonomy solutions.

        Sales & Dealer Enablement

        • Produce the materials that help our sales team, Field Application Engineers (FAEs), and dealers close and support customers: one-pagers, competitive comparisons, demo scripts, and battle cards (quick-reference competitive cheat sheets for sales reps)
        • Partner with sales and support to capture and systematize learnings from the field
        • Ensure product documentation is accurate, current, and accessible to the people who need it

        Positioning & Narrative

        • Maintain consistent product messaging across all customer-facing surfaces, aligned with the Marketing team's brand voice
        • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated value propositions for operators, dealers, and enterprise buyers
        • Use AI tools to scale content production without sacrificing quality

        QUALIFICATIONS

        • Has owned launch, content, and enablement simultaneously in a single role before - at a startup or startup-stage company
        • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to write a clear one-pager or a detailed training guide with equal facility
        • Comfortable working directly with engineers and PMs to understand what's being built and why it matters
        • Industrial, field operations, or enterprise SaaS background preferred - someone who can walk up to a farmer or a dealer and hold a real conversation
        • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to accelerate content and documentation workflows
        • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field - or equivalent demonstrated experience
        • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; we are not able to sponsor work visas at this time

        DESIRED EXPERIENCE

          • 3-5 years in product marketing, content marketing, technical marketing, or a closely related role
          • Experience developing technical publications for precision ag products
          • End-to-end product launch experience: you've written the announcement, built the enablement kit, and measured adoption
          • Sales enablement artifacts you're proud of: competitive battle cards, demo scripts, one-pagers that actually get used
          • Customer education or documentation programs (LMS, help centers, video - format is less important than the outcome)
          • Experience in agriculture, construction, industrial equipment, or field operations software is a strong plus
          • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Intercom, Loom, Figma, or similar GTM and content tooling

          BENEFITS

At Sabanto, every member of our team moves the needle. With a firm footing in our core company values, we've built a fast-paced, demanding work culture that allows for the flexibility, autonomy, and career opportunities you'd expect from a growing company. We offer competitive benefits including:

          • Working on a concept that will forever disrupt the agriculture industry
          • The chance to make an immediate impact and do the best work of your life
          • Unlimited Vacation and flexible time
          • 401k, medical, dental

          OUR CORE VALUES

          • Own It - Be self-driven, entrepreneurial, and efficient
          • Raise the Bar - Challenge complacency and mediocrity; be adaptable and agile; details matter
          • Be As One - Trust, collaborate, and support; invest in co-workers and customers
          • Embrace Curiosity - Always be learning, be curious and share; be humbled but not embarrassed by mistakes
          • Do the Right Thing - Act with integrity, even when no one is looking; be transparent
          • Empower Farmers - Create solutions where customers, i.e. farmers, win

At Sabanto, we value diversity of culture and background for the benefit of our employees, our products, and our community. Sabanto is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. This position is open to applicants who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
