The Basics:
Tanium is seeking talented, driven individuals to join our growing organization. As a Partner Development Representative (PDR), you will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Partner, and Marketing teams, as well as our broader partner ecosystem, to generate and expand pipeline with our largest national partners. What you'll do:
  • Schedule highly qualified meetings for your partner sales team members to assist in creating partner credited pipeline for our largest national partners across the US, using a defined sales methodology and utilizing sales strategies within your territory
  • Build an outbound prospecting strategy to actively develop your territory in partnership with field partner sales
  • Manage lead generation and follow up activity on partner inbound leads for your territory
  • Leverage world class tools such as Salesforce, 6Sense, Claude AI, Notion, Groove, Tech Target, and LinkedIn Navigator to drive the biggest impact across your territory
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, partners, and product teams on messaging, field events and defined campaigns
  • Through regular trainings and enablement, build a strong and qualified pipeline for your partner territory, while developing an understanding of the competitive landscape and current trends in the marketplace
  • Work with your leadership team to build strong communications skills and learn how to deliver effective reporting back to the business
  • Meet or exceed minimum weekly activity metrics: calls, emails, conversations and meetings
  • Work closely with your team and business partners in a highly collaborative environment

The Right Candidate Will:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related area, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of Enterprise SaaS or Security experience preferred
  • Experience working within the channel ecosystem, including VARs (Value-Added Resellers), distributors, or reseller partners is a plus
  • Demonstrate passion about being part of a team focused on helping customers solve some of the most pressing needs in Security and IT, while helping drive innovation and collaborations across the business
  • Build strong relationships across the business and become a trusted resource for the team
  • Work closely with a high energy, dynamic sales team in the ongoing optimization of strategic sales approaches
  • Be eager to learn, committed to getting 1% better every day and be open to feedback

What you'll get
The target annual base salary range for this full-time position is $41,000 to $52,000 and this position will also be commission eligible. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience. This position is classified as non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay as required by law.
In addition to an annual base salary, team members will receive equity awards and a generous benefits package consisting of medical, dental and vision plan, family planning benefits, health savings account, flexible spending account, transportation savings account, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, life, accident and disability coverage, business travel accident insurance, employee assistance programs, disability insurance, and other well-being benefits.
