Overview
As Partner Development Specialist, you will support key partner relationships, programs, and overall growth for a named list of strategic partners, with a focus on, and responsibility for, optimizing partner funding. You will assist our vendor alliances team, Marketing, Sales Operations, and other internal and external stakeholders with planning and managing partner funding and will become a key member of multi-disciplinary teams focusing on growing profitable partner relationships.Â
Your Impact
- Assist partner alliance team with managing regional and national Marketing Development Funds (MDF) requirements and budgets.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for partner funding guidelines and processes for assigned partners.
- Conduct ongoing, proactive, long-range MDF planning and execution for key partners.
- Prepare regular reports of funded activities for alliance team, Marketing managers, and others.
- Prepare funding-related data for quarterly and annual partner meetings and attend these events as necessary.
- Maintain integrity of data in internal systems and multiple trackers to ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist in the development of joint business plans as required by partner programs, with a focus on leveraging partner funding to grow the business and building relationships.
- Master multiple internal approvals processes, systems, and procedures.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various internal and external teams, including Vendor Alliances, Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Contracts, Legal, Finance, Marketing, etc.
- Manage and optimize internal CRM data and reports for use by various internal teams.
- Assist with the corporate presence at major partner conferences and summits.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:Â
- 2-3+ years of experience in IT industry partner programs or similar reseller-centric industries
- Experience with the daily use of customer relationship management (CRM) platforms or similar solutions.
- Experience with creation and frequent updating of activity trackers.
- Experience collaborating and building strong relationships with multiple internal and external teams.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong number sense and financial acumen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent processes under strict deadlines.Â
Position Specifics
The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $50,000 and $70,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
