Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to drive Nexii's growth by developing highimpact partnerships across the construction and building materials industry. In this role, you will lead the expansion of our customer base and revenue by building and managing relationships with Fortune 500 companies, major commercial developers, and leading construction firms.


You will be responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, negotiating and executing key agreements, and advancing Nexii's presence with marquee brands and industrydefining partners. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, exceptional relationshipmanagement skills, and a proven track record in driving business development within the construction sector. As a senior representative of Nexii, you will act in alignment with the Nexii Constitution while helping to shape the company's longterm growth and market leadership.


Location

Remote, with travel required in the Eastern US and Canada.

The assigned territory includes Eastern Canada and the Eastern United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans targeting large commercial clients, marquee accounts, and Fortune 500 companies.
  • Build and maintain long-term, executivelevel relationships with senior decisionmakers, driving strategic account value and trust.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, including RFPs, RFIs, major partnerships, and multiyear highvalue contracts.
  • Lead highlevel negotiations and establish national account agreements, such as master service agreements and memorandums of understanding.
  • Act as a senior advisor on major construction projects, providing tailored solutions aligned with Nexii's products, capabilities, and value proposition.
  • Monitor industry trends, market shifts, and competitive activity to inform and refine strategic planning and revenuegrowth initiatives.
  • Design, recommend, and implement marquee relationship programs that support Nexii's longterm strategic objectives.
  • Deliver business reviews, trend analyses, revenue forecasts, and relationshipfocused reporting to support leadership decisionmaking.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams-design, project management, operations, and technology partnerships-to ensure alignment and worldclass project delivery.
  • Manage key internal and external relationships to ensure an exceptional and consistent client experience.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to support team development and build future organizational capabilities.
  • Plan, direct, and communicate strategies effectively across internal and external stakeholders in a fastpaced, fluid environment.
  • Develop proposals, deliver highimpact presentations, and secure agreement on terms and deliverables across all phases of partnership development.


Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic partnerships within the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials procurement, and sustainable building practices.
  • Familiarity with sustainable building technologies and frameworks (e.g., LEED).
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationshipmanagement skills.
  • Demonstrated success closing largescale deals with Fortune 500 companies and major commercial developers.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
