Overview of the role

We are seeking a Director, Business Development to lead and scale our global strategic partnerships and growth initiatives. The role reports directly to the Chief Business Officer and will drive strategic business development efforts across the entire spectrum of current and new vectors. This is an Individual Contributor role.

Impact you will make
  • Lead global business development strategy, identifying and executing high-value partnerships that drive revenue and long-term growth
  • Build and leverage a strong industry network to unlock new opportunities across the addressability ecosystem (data, identity, audiences)
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Product, Sales, and Leadership to align business development initiatives with company priorities
  • Translate market opportunities into scalable partnership models and commercial agreements
  • Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities
  • Contribute to evolving the business development function and operating model as the company scales
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, data partnerships, and ecosystem shifts that can accelerate the company’s leadership in the addressability and identity space
  • Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder negotiations with strategic partners, ensuring alignment across commercial, technical, and product priorities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape long‑term growth strategy and expand the company’s global footprint through high‑impact partnerships
Experience we need
  • 12‑15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic growth roles, with a strong track record of closing complex deals
  • Established network of industry relationships with the ability to quickly open doors and drive partnership conversations
  • Experience operating in global roles, with a strong understanding of international markets and dynamics
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in structuring and negotiating strategic partnerships
  • Experience working closely with product teams; direct product management experience or deep fluency in product development is highly preferred
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling strategic partnership programs within the advertising technology, data, or digital media ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of evolving privacy regulations, signal loss challenges, and the industry’s transition toward new addressability solutions
  • Ability to operate both strategically and operationally—balancing long‑term ecosystem partnerships with near‑term revenue impact
